  2. in those fur farms they beat the animals before they take their fur. they BELIEVE the fur will be better quality.

some people just arent that smart, but there are many activists in china who rescue animals. some woman saved about one thousand cats.

  3. Do you know that they also eat dogs? Isn’t it an abuse? Maybe there can be an excuse at least they are not chewing them alive.
    :D

Even though all people understand that violence shouldn’t be used towards anyone — still there are plenty of parents all over the wolrd who beat their children, many husbands who beat their wives or many grown-ups who abuse their aged parents.
Maybe this matters more than a couple of dead pups. Anyway their sufferings in this world are over.

  4. You’re really funny…

American kids never get spanked, that’s why they get pregnant when they’re 16 and disrespect their parents. Why do you use the negative connotation “beat them”? I’ve seen Americans spank their dogs before.

And that example… is a bad one. You’ve never heard of animal abuse in America before!? You should listen to the news more. (Actually, just read the links provided by the 1st person… should give you an idea.)

And by the way, every country is different. There *are* no laws against “animal abuse”. That’s just the way it is. What makes you think America’s laws should apply to the whole wide world!? And one more thing, you might think eating dogs is crazy. But I bet lots of Hindus think eating beef is crazy. Don’t always judge other people by your own standards. You’ll have a very sad life.

  5. It is unfair and unkind to think that ALL Chinese people are cruel to animals, just because of one guy.

I live in Taiwan, and the attitude to dogs is very different from what you see in North America. On the one hand people have little poodles and terriers and pamper them to the point of what I consider to be foolishness.

There are also street dogs, left to breed indiscriminately. Kindly people put food down for them, but that’s it. They get hit by cars, and if they live they walk around disabled. The are often weak, and starving, and suffering from skin diseases.

Some kindly foreigners favour a spay/neuter and release program, but to my mind the kindest thing would be a massive roundup and cull of any dogs running loose. There are a lot of Buddhist people where I live (Hualien) and great reluctance to take life.

MY WIFE RESCUES STREET DOGS AND CATS HERE. WE HAVE KEPT TWO, AND WE WILL TAKE THEM HOME TO CANADA WHEN WE MOVE BACK IN JULY. “XIAO BAI” (LITTLE WHITE DOG) IS A LOVELY CREATURE. I CALL HER A PUREBRED “FORMOSAN LUGO HOUND”. “LU” IS “STREET” AND “GO” IS “DOG” IN CHINESE.

VOLUNTEERS RESTORE THE DOGS TO HEALTH, AND TAKE CARE OF THE NEUTERING AND SHOTS AND ALL THAT.

ANYONE WHO WANTS A PUREBRED FORMOSAN LUGO, EMAIL ME AND I WILL PUT YOU IN TOUCH WITH THE VOLUNTEERS. ALL YOU WOULD HAVE TO DO IS GET THE DOG AT THE AIRPORT.

  6. China does have cat and dog abuse laws, but in reality they there not enforced as much in the USA. Both counties will have cases of animal abuse.

But that has got on the nerves of PETA and its ick, and what srbi m has gotten is the time the Chinese government order a crackdown on stay and over sized dogs some time ago. Most of them there beaten to death with wooden poles because it was cheaper to do so, some even paid there owners to do it. Plus the videos of Chinese fur farms does not do wonders for there image.

  7. animal abuse is everywhere in every country, we cannot even stop human trafficking, where more attention should be given to saving humans, generally speaking Chinese treat their animals just like you Canadians, us Americans and so on

Canada, it was a Chinese student in Canada, in case you didn’t know it is not a part of the USA, don’t get mad at someone for making a negative generalization and than turn around and do the same thing, there are plently of preganant teens in China, it just isn’t talked about and put on the front page of every paper

  8. We have two different culture, just like muslim don`t eat pork, we do eat dogs, but cat eating rarely heared.
And we don`t have the kind culture like Americans that treat their dogs as family member. So that is your preceive that pets(the dog we eat we donot call it pet, and I don`t think there is a word have that much means as the words in English means) are family members, we don`t love the dog as furious as you guys. Chinese respect others culture, we respect ours, and do never wanna convert us to be someone belive in your belive, religion, culture, everything. just respect each other.
I have saw that American sometimes have a kind subconscious, wanna convert the world into the way of America, think that only their so-called culture is the best and the only best, get no respect to Islam world, Chinese, etc.

So my suggestion is get yourself fix in Iraq and never mess with other country`s affair with an excuse of human rights. China have it own foreign policy American should learn, respect sovereign country and no-intervention.

  9. well i gotta say…dont say ‘chinese’ cuz you mean it like a whole…not all people in china do this!
i saw a movie based on this when a bunch of dog owners love their dogs but some of them had to be carried away…
anyways, not all people train them to and beat them….get your facts right
but i gotta say, yeah it was horrible before, but its much better now, china has improved a lot
