  1. Since the time of Shih Huang Di, China has had an emperor as leader (until the Communist Revolution in 1952).

    The emperor had absolute power, meaning no one told him what he sould or souldn’t do.

    Their realtions wth other countries were limited- the Chinese felt that other cultures were inferior, and isolated themselves. This is why is was so remarkable when Marco Polo was able to get into China, stay and then return to Venice.

    You ask about laws- China hasn;t like change much until lately. the teachings of Confucius emphasised tradition and reason and family values, so people who kept those did better than rabble-rousers.

    Any decent website can give you lots on the leaders and the army.
