Nemesis asked:

I love China, its history may not be as vast as my own countries however its history is incredible. They had many beautiful clothings and buildings, and was so civilised at the time. I love its food too, however now China is having many problems with pollution, population and its unstable situation. China is suffering so badly with these problems its corrupted the government, I reckon countries currently powerful such as America and Britain should lend China a helping hand and should advise it and help it.

I think if countries did this for China, they could get back on track, reasonable laws on birth could be given and soon its population would be normal and suitable. I reckon if rich countries helped China with renewable energy and advised it on Nuclear instead of Coal that its smog would clear and I also reckon it would improve the government.

What do you think?
Sino, I do not mean to anger you. I just feel so strongly for the chinese, even the greatest of warriors must take help from the greatest of men.
I am from Britain, and how do I make you sick, because I want to help and have ideas on how I can, I am not a guy who sits in his sofa and just watches war commence, war that savages life and wrecks civilisation.
Yangmi, the British have been here since 6,000 BC. We arrived here more than 2,600 years ago.

  1. I think the problem lies with the Chinese themselves. Thier government is corrupted & rotten to the core. Nobody can help them but the Chinese themselves.

  2. We don’t need your help

Go back to your American Iraq and Afghanistan.

  3. Is the US helping China enough? Debt? Are the CCP feeding food for 1.3 billion people?

The pollution problem should be easy for the CCP to deal with.

I think US/UK needs to back away a bit and let CCP deal with themselves. China is a big boy and doesn’t need lots of help from other countries.

  4. All you need to do is listen to the Chinese peoples answers about your question to know why they can’t be helped. They are determined to it on thier own, and they’re coming along. Anyway, where do you come from Egypt? I just assume so if your comparing histories. And if so, why doesn’t your country ask for help?

  8. There are many ways to help a country, quite different from help to a man or a person. Anyway when a person is concerned and willing to put out his hand to help others, it is good enough. It is the thinking thats count.

China is a gaint and also an ancient dragon with thousands of years of glory. It was the regular 5 yrs cycle of revolution of the communism period that slow down and stagnant the total process of modernisation. The last 20 years was the fast learning period when they started absorbing the modern skill of management & control in development progression as exposures were given on all angles of advancement from the countries of the world. S’pore, a small country also lend a hand in the setting up of the Suochou Industrial Project (SIP) near Shanghai and was trying to turn it into a mini- Singapore.
It failed for the 1st 10 years but after reassessment & recoordination of the whole project, it started to rise with many countries of the world participating in the process of lifting it up to show as an efficient industrial centre in CHINA to the world to get them interested for more to come. It becomes a success story and now S’pore is again helping to put up an ECO-CITY @ Tienchin ( the 2nd big project by China/S’pore).

During the great industrial development period of Asia & SE Asia, there were 4 mini dragons: Korea, Taiwan, Hong Kong & Singapore. If all the dragons of the east get together, the unity power will be great enough to develop the whole region. There will soon be an Eastern Empire in this world to come in the near future. We will help one another in this part of ASIA.

  9. In a sense… yes China does need help but so does many other countries in this world. I was born in China, I love China. I’m ok with the Chinese government most of time but every now and then they’d do something that really sets me off.

…but then again, look at how much China has changed? For the better…

  10. Sure! I believe they are still accepting cash donations for the earthquake, so you can donate. I did. Countries can help by sending money to China.

  11. I think so.

The best help is a “friendly and respectful” relationship.

More culture exchange and understanding will go a long way.

  12. its history may not be as vast as my own countries

what stupid words ,when we have history ,you are still monkeys

  13. how can china’s 5000 year history not be as vast as yours!!!

i understand where you’re coming from but you just don’t understand when you have time come to china understand that we are more developed that america there are more skyscrapers in shanghai than there are in manhattan

i was born in queens new york, but i’m still chinese. i have also been to london, oxford, paris, bretagne, and lots more.

i must say london’s chinatown is the best i’ve seen but… that is only an interpretation of what china is really like

in china supermarkets don’t use plastic bags in order to “save”‘ the earth.

we are able to accept and learn the western culture and yet mold it into our daily lives.

we don’t need help… we need you to educate yourselves and burst your small uneducated bubble.

  15. Sounds like this is coming from someone who eats at too many Chinese buffets and watchs too many kung-fu movies.

China can take care of herself, just like she has been doing for thousands of years.
