  1. Texas is also a carrying state. Keep your gun on you at all times and be watchful of your kids. I wouldn’t let my children play outside unsupervised even if there weren’t pitbulls. So long as you both are cautious I don’t see a problem. Not all pitbulls are bad, but just the same I’d be ready to put one down if a problem did come up.

  2. Call the police every time he lets them loose…..after a while the police will get sick of it and take care of it.

Just use the Non emergency number so you do not get into trouble for dialing 911

    Good luck.

  4. lol, look, something can ALWAYS, always be done, especially over a rude person.

Have the cops at least show up to check things out, and they’ll be able to conclude if he’s a bad person and it’s a bad situation.

Just by him being rude makes you look good and him look bad, just have the cops witness it, and you’ll then have THEM on your side, and they’ll advise you on what you can do.

  5. it depends on how he raised them.. not what kind of dog they are.. pitbulls can and will be the most loving and caring dog you’ve ever seen if they are brought up to be.. I would say if the dog’s seem vicious call the police.. but DONT be a fool and believe all pit bulls are dangerous.. that is a lie..

  6. If they come on your property and threatens your family, shoot them. One the same note make sure your kids don’t go to his yard. Have you spoken with the owner and let him know your concerns? Also, you could take a petition from your neighbors to have a leash law enforced and take it to the city council meeting- even if that doesn’t work in that small community maybe some sort of awareness of the situation could happen. Does the Jefferson County animal control go out there? I would also call them about advice.
