If not, then the toy makers in China are not breaking the law. The people breaking the law are the “American” capitalists who buy these products from Chinese companies and then sell them in the USA. We should start to enforce our laws. Why not start with “truth in advertising?”

  1. The Chinese toy makers would be breaking the law if they made toys knowingly violating the U.S. toy manufacturer’s specifications.

  2. When toy companies place an order for a product they are very specific. China KNOWS America’s standards regarding lead paint on toys, antifreeze in toothpaste and chemicals in pet food. US companies are not doing more checking. It’s China that is causing the problem!
