Should the major Western countries introduce laws as in China to limit the number of children a couple can have?
I am not asking just because a country may be running out of space, but that we may run out of resources.
Don’t worry I’m not some crazy environmentalist, just concerned about the amount of fuel we have left.

No. Although I don’t like the idea that people will have fourteen children, and those children will have fourteen children… This IS the US. Freedom to do whatever. England… idk? they are an island, so maybe. But right now, I think the situation is just fine.

No. you should be free to choose how big you want your family to be. HOWEVER, Nations should stop giving out FREE handouts to poor needy families who continue having more and more kids in order to get more and more socialist hand outs.

No. The reason they introduced such a law in China was because they didn’t have any room to grow! America has probably the most room to grow than of any other major Western country. Also, the English probably wouldn’t pass the law anyhow. They have enough space as well.

Sure. Then they can start instating laws to tell us what and how much we can eat, how much TV we are lawfully allowed to watch a day, when we must go to sleep and wake up, how much money we can spend and save, when and where we can spend our off-time…
That was sarcasm for no. The government should butt out of personal and familial affairs as much as possible. If you want to have 10 kids that is your personal business, just like if you don’t want to have any at all. China had laws regarding how many children you could have, and now they are scrambling to reverse the ill effects of that legislature.

Ive traveled both. American has all the open unused land it needs Out west you can drive for hours and hours and not see a house nor a farm So no not in the U S Besides the world needs us yanks to take care of them! Now in the U K…….. let me sleep on it…………………………….At one time Mr Carter the pres y’all in the U K loved and the one MOST yanks dislike said the same as you By 2000 we would be out of oil everything,How y’all do with Y2K everything work out?
