  1. Well, a free market society is good for America and companies should be able to import from whatever country they wish. I, however, will personally not buy anything from China that I can buy from the USA.

  2. As a consumer you have more power than the government. We are still in a free market society and you have the choice to not buy anything made in china. Or do you want the government to tell you what to buy and perhaps wipe your butt too?

  3. I don’t think we need to stop buying from them totally because international trade can lead to some good things, but I do think we need to try to focus more on keeping jobs in our own country, including growing our own food.

  4. How about we just have a global free market with absolutely no controls that benefit large corporations and rich politicians? A freedom of choice kind of thing – yes I know it’s radical, for how can big busiensses make huge profits in such an environemnt where every little guy has the same opportunity as the multinationals?

  5. If this gives you cause for concern, read up on Sovereign Wealth Funds and find out whose buying us (and I don’t mean whose buying “from” us).
