Since China is a communist country, why are so many people living there? And what are some of the strict laws?

Oh and is there any chance what so ever that Inner Mongolia could ever become part of Mongolia again?

  1. People live in China because they don’t have any other options. They can’t overthrow the govenment because the govenment has all the guns.
Inner Mongolia and Mongolia are one and the same. Inner is in reference that they are land locked. You can’t get there unless you go through China or Russia.

  2. because they were born there, have no way to be living anywhere else, lots of them emigrate, but it is a small percentage of the total population.
there are 10,000 people executed there per year, and a lot of those are simply people who have protested about the strict regime. (anti-communists)
they cannot even access websites that mention non-communist stuff, or tibet, etc, because of censorship

  3. The political nature of the regime and the number of people living there have nothing to do with each other.

Actually, since most Chinese were born and raised under the Communist rule, they think it works ( and it does, in a way, no democracy could have developed China as fast as the present system)

Some of the laws – Most serious crimes merit either long prison sentences at hard labour or death.

Only 1 child per family ( they’re trying to get their population under control)

Doubtful on the Mongolia issue until the Communist government flls.
