The Blockader asked:

Airsoft has been made illegal in China, and I don’t get why, first of all, a lot of Airsoft gun’s are made in China, second of all, the Chinese government turns a blind eye to the matter, therefore, a lot of people manage to buy airsoft guns, and is pretty much the same thing if they didn’t have the law but the airsoft guns in China are all just crappy plastic, and third of all, I REALLY LOVE AIRSOFT! :'(

  1. Well, in regards to the manufacturing of airsoft in China, I will have to roughly quote a Chinese manufacturer, money can make gov. officials turn a blind eye very quickly. I’ve heard they’ve been hassled by the police several times, but a bribe here or there allows them to continue as long as they are making the guns for export only. The really cynical way of looking at things is the government is ensuring an extra pay day on the side by banning airsoft then accepting bribes to turn a blind eye to things.

  2. There are too many people in china to let anyone get confused that it might be a real gun. Mass hysteria
