I could start riding a bicycle from here (Pa) to California today without a permit.
My brother lives ad China and wants me to visit for the summer. He sent me a message last night on MySpace telling me about the plans to cycle from Beijing to Tibet, but then ran into the problem that we’re white Americans, and look like white Americans, so we’re going to have to dodge police so we won’t get thrown in jail…
This permit law is for everyone in China, not just tourists. Especially since my brother is now a China citizen.
It’s funny though because people complain that outsiders in America have to get a Visa or green card to come to the US for work or what not, but you need a permit just to go to another region there.

Net als in Alice in Wonderland, is het alsof het spioneren via de zoek-glas. Ze zijn communistische en paranoïde is, is het niet zinvol.

hoe kan uw broer een Chinese burger zijn? Ik leef in Shanghai en door Chinees verteld dat het dichtbij onmogelijk is een Chinese burger te worden aangezien een vreemdeling, ik van slechts twee witte mensen me bewust ben die Chinese burgers zijn geworden en zij betaalde miljoenen van rmb het moesten doen, voor zover de vergunning het enkel voor uw veiligheid is, ben ik zeker zijn zij nieuwsgierig in verband met waarom u naar fiets over het land gaat maar het moet " helpen; protect" u op
