buy from Wholefoods -organic/locally produced. Buy from local farms. On some fruit containers it says were they were grown, so look for that.

China’s climate is good for growing rice and getting fish. We get fruit vegs and meat from places like FA,TX ,argentina, etc, not china

I don’t believe many fruits come from China. Most of them are grown best in the climate near South and Middle America. When you are at the grocery store, check the little stickers on your fruit and it will tell you where they came from.
Because of all the controversy over products from China, I wouldn’t buy anything from there anymore!!

It’s not like our food has been any safer. Look at all the e-coli reports. And you really don’t what to know what goes on inside restaurants, especially the fast food joints.

Most of our fruit comes from Chile, if our meat is imported, it usually comes from New Zealand, Maybe south America. Yeah, I’m really suspicious now, I’m going to start looking at labels for companies that are known to import from china, and start boycotting all Chinese imported food. We could sure create a lot more jobs in the US if we started processing our own food again. I wish people would realize that China does not have respect for the life and dignity of its own people, why wouldn’t they sink so low as to not respect life over here. I think they laugh at how much they got going on over here and what they could do to us, and we’re just stupid enough to think they wouldn’t want to hurt us?

Most of our fruit comes from the Americas. Why don’t you start going to the farmers market? And food gets recalled from everywhere, I don’t think avoiding Chinese imports is going to keep you safe. The bread, green beans, chili (and I heard chocolate too) that was all recalled in the past week was all made here in America. Eat up!
