daytrader asked:
What does “nan har” mean?
What does “ju” mean?
My sister-in-law lives in Beijing and she says I am “nan har” and I eat “ju”. Obviously she’s trying to be funny. Does anyone know what this means?
Thanks!
It means “Eminem, Chamillionair, and Lil Wayne are the greatest rappers in the history of the world”

I think she is saying that you are a “boy” and you eat “too fast”.
first of all, I don’t think that is pin-yin but rather your phonic representation of the sounds.
secondly, based on the context, I think that is what she is trying to say.

男孩儿 = nan2hai2r = male child, boy
橘 = ju2 = tangerine, orange
she probably saw you eating oranges and said it in Chinese
:D

Yes, you are a boy eating orange, right?

“nan har” can be transcribed as 男孩儿 or nán hái er and means “male child”.
Based on the context of the second sentence, I think the “ju” is actually zhū, or 猪, which means “pig”. So, she said you eat “pig”.
