Yes and No. If it is a big operation you will have to pay a little bit but most of all you won’t pay anything.

There is no universal health care in China as we know it in countries like Canada, where all health care costs are covered regardless of income or location. Some people have access to government health care or private health insurance from their employer (they pay a monthly premium), but at least 50% of city dwellers and more than three-quarters of the rural population has no health coverage whatsoever…
So in a nutshell, if the woman has healthcare coverage and continues to meet the eligibility criteria (residency, work, etc.), she will continue to enjoy her coverage whether she gets married or not to a foreigner.
Edit: no, there isn’t universal health coverage in China! Check your sources, ask Chinese people who do not have government jobs or work for an educational institution. Many hundreds of millions do not have ANY coverage whatsoever. I work on projects in Qinghai and most people I encounter do not have ANY coverage and must spend all their meagre savings to get proper medication or see a doctor.
People like Wilson H should get off their high horses and go live in China in a small rural village for a while and try to raise a family with less than 200 Yuan per month doing backbreaking work. Then they will earn the right to call others dumbasses.

Yes she will be able to provided she is still a Chinese citizen, there will be a nominal payment that needs to be made…
Many years ago while working in China, a colleague who is a foreigner seriously hurt himself while at work resulting in him getting two fingers cut off….
In this case the all 99% of the medical bills where taken care of by the government upto and including flying a micro surgeon from Bejjing to reattach his fingers…..
Total cost the Foreigner had to pay…….US$ 200, he actually want to give the surgeon a lot more money for what he had done but wasn’t allowed to
As a foreigner working in any other country in the world…don’t think you would be taken care of and treated as well

Who told Dr. Phil that China doesn’t have UHC? WOW! What a dumbo! He doesn’t have a license and now he speaks falsely.

Chinese medicine is the best in the world. Canadian=not so good. Seriously a wikipedia without any sources. Pff.
