She is really nice, very helpful and takes daytime care of our three children. She speaks no english and is putting up with her caucasian son-in-law very well. I would like to express my appreciation for her help and participation in the well being of my family.
I was hoping for something which would be a momento not so much for the value as for the meaning. Some form of traditional or cultural object that is appreciated for the gesture.

Since im asian myself, I’ll have to say take her out to eat at a chinese restaurant or treat her to a day at the spa along with your wife.
