Thanks to the heavy cost of U.S. tax, regulatory, and environmental policies, and tort laws, that have driven up the cost of domestic production (along with trade policies that favor the movement of U.S. manufacturers to China), the evil communist regime in Beijing now has hundreds of billions of dollars in cash to invest in Africa, Latin America, the Caribbean, and the Middle East (not to mention buying up plenty of key assets in the United States).
In order to continue its meteoric growth rate and advance its global political-military strategy, China is acquiring access to, and control of, much of the Third World mineral wealth, fishery wealth and sea lanes.
They have plans of driving US forces out of Africa through the use of both conventional and unconventional warfare. In order to fully control all of the African continent’s supply and rule the planet.
What can we do to stop their evil plans?
stay out of it.

evil plans? c’mon, africa was carved up long ago, if it’s evil it means cutting into US sphere of influence. i can see where you have a problem but moral high ground, the only people who will believe that are your own choir. US wants free enterprise global market domination, any attempts at business in the world are seen by some in corporate america as threats to national security, Just because you are getting beat out in the free marketplace is not a security issue, the world has every right to make money and do business how we do business or even only in reference to the laws of all parties involved where applicable.

Where do you get these ideas from? I have never heard and will never believe that China want to force the US out of Africa with conventional and unconventional warfare. Are you listening to the wrong TV stations? Get a Life.

Well for one thing we as American consumers can stop our conspicuous consumption of consumer goods. (wow say that five times fast!) As the wealthiest nation we’ve become accustomed to being a disposable nation, that consumes for the sake of consuming (go around your house and see how many products you haven’t touched in three months, it’ll shock you)
Second we can invest in green technologies, while putting money into “hippie tech” might not seem the right way to fight a rising global super power, think of it this way, Oil is limited…Sun, wind, and Waves are not. Owning all the oil fields does you no good if your consumers produce their own power. Owning all the mines isn’t very effective if your customers recycle everything they use. I know this is not completely realistic but every gallon of gas we save means one less gallon of dependence on foreign influences.
Finally we can strengthen allies abroad; America has lost a lot of credibility on the world stage due to a certain misguided war over oil (see paragraph two for reasons why we need to move away from oil dependence), if we come to our allies as an equal partner rather than a unilateral decision maker, we greatly strengthen our resistance against a dominating regime.

Well, first off, they are not evil plans, second, China has very little experience with modern warfare, third, China has no intention of pushing anyone around, least of all the US and fourth, you’re nuts.
Peace
