China is colonizing Africa! What can we as American do about it?

NONAME asked:

Thanks to the heavy cost of U.S. tax, regulatory, and environmental policies, and tort laws, that have driven up the cost of domestic production (along with trade policies that favor the movement of U.S. manufacturers to China), the evil communist regime in Beijing now has hundreds of billions of dollars in cash to invest in Africa, Latin America, the Caribbean, and the Middle East (not to mention buying up plenty of key assets in the United States).

In order to continue its meteoric growth rate and advance its global political-military strategy, China is acquiring access to, and control of, much of the Third World mineral wealth, fishery wealth and sea lanes.

They have plans of driving US forces out of Africa through the use of both conventional and unconventional warfare. In order to fully control all of the African continent’s supply and rule the planet.

What can we do to stop their evil plans?

Athena asked:

In China recently, they passed a law that mandates for men and woman that their waist can only get so big, excluding pregnancy in order to keep its citizens from getting to big and and unhealthy. They went so far as to make extra programs to encourage people to watch their weight. Now go past the freedoms that Americans have and compare the future result this law would have in America if passed through Congress. Thanks I was just wondering what others thought of this subject.:)

Is the Republic of China the legal government of Taiwan?

Overseas E asked:

What is the status of the Republic of China on Taiwan? It is confusing … When exactly was the sovereignty of “Formosa and the Pescadores” transferred to the Republic of China?

I can find no reference to such a transfer in the post-war peace treaty of San Francisco. At the same time, the Sino-Japanese Peace Treaty fully recognizes the provisions of that earlier treaty.

Did any of the Allies recognize any transfer of the sovereignty of Taiwan to China upon the surrender of Japanese troops on Oct. 25, 1945? I have been unable to find any documents confirming that.

Is there any basis under international law to say that the 1895 Treaty of Shimonoseki (ceding Taiwan to Japan) was invalid? There doesn’t seem to be. After all, in a 1936 interview with Chairman Mao, he referred to Taiwan as being part of the Empire of Japan.

Without a clear transfer of the title of Taiwan territory to the ROC, it would seem that Taiwan is not ROC national territory. Comments anyone?

What would happen if China had to follow the same environmental and safety laws as the USA?

Robbo_op_98 asked:

People keep saying how China’s economy is booming and growing at an expanatial rate. However if you research, China has very little in terms of health and safety laws that govern their businesses. My question is what would happen if China would have to enforce say laws like we have here in the USA. Example agencies would be OSHA and EPA.

When McDonalds opened in China years ago even they had to import the laws we follow here in the states for resturant ownership cause China’s laws were void in this area.

So my question is what would happen to China’s economy if it had to adopt health and safety laws like here in the states?
